Schilke B7 Professional Trumpet Circa 1974 Medium Bore Large #1 BellFor the musician that desires a big sound with an efficient design, the B7 never disappoints. While this model provides an economical feel from the medium bore chassis, the #1 bell taper yields a broad sound that belies any idea of this being a medium bore trumpet. The B7 is an incredibly versatile model that is popular with musicians of all ages and plays wonderfully in all genres.FeaturesOne-piece Yellow Brass BellUnsoldered Bead#1 Bell Taper.450″ Medium Step BoreReverse LeadpipeRound Main Tuning SlideLightweight Design1st slide saddle & 3rd slide ringThis horn is a great playing horn. Very open and flexible. It plays with ease and is very accurate in its slotting. Very open for a medium bore horn. The horn is nearly fifty years old so, there has been some extensive work that has been done on the bell. It looks like it has been removed, worked on and reattached. The bell still has some dents in the crook, pin dents, and slight creases in bell. Please see pics. There are blemishes and some silver wear overall. This is the way the horn was sold to me. Original mouthpiece receiver has been replaced with a Bach type hexagon receiver. Valves are in great condition and still holds good compression. Overall great playing instrument. Any defects does not hinder playability.
